At Hive Academy, we understand that not all customers need extended care hours, therefore, we offer an academic program at a more cost-effective rate. Our academic program is for fully-potty trained children ages 3 years through 5 years, and runs Monday through Friday from 8:30am - 2:30pm on days when CISD has school.

At Hive Academy, we understand the importance of convenience and the role we play in that. In an effort to assist our families with less items to remember to bring/purchase, we provide:

• Hypoallergenic diapers and wipes
• Bibs and burp cloths
• Individually assigned toddler training cups
• Individually assigned cots for naptime
• Individually assigned blankets for naptime along with the laundry service for the blankets
• Healthy, nutritious, and balanced breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack provided
• Before and after school care transportation to local elementary and intermediate schools for K-6
• Learning supplies and materials

At Hive Academy, we understand the importance of simple billing and budgeting. Therefore, our tuition is an all-inclusive tuition that remains the same year-round (except for school age children  that enroll into our summer camp). At Hive Academy, families will pay a one-time registration fee and never pay a supply fee or another registration fee as long as they remain enrolled. 

At Hive Academy, we understand that the cost of child care is a significant expense, and we have done our best to keep our prices as minimal as possible all while maintaining a high-quality program for the children and families we serve, as well as our staff. In an effort to show our appreciation, we offer a range of discounts that every family can take advantage of. They are as follows:

• For every family, we offer a $10.00 per week discount for those set up on ACH draft
• For multi-child families, we offer a $10.00 per week discount for each additional child enrolled
• For those who have served in the military, we offer a $10.00 per week discount
• For those that are emergency personnel (police officer, EMS, firefighter), we offer a $10.00 per week discount
• For those that are employed by an ISD, we offer a $10.00 per week discount

At Hive Academy, we understand that children may be absent from time to time due to various reasons and sometimes these absences may be for extended lengths of time. Even though there are no cost savings for Hive Academy when a child is absent, we have developed a policy that allows us to "meet in the middle" and do our best to still cover expenses, but also accommodate a discount for our families.  After your child has been enrolled for 90 days, you are eligible for an absent/vacation credit. If your child is absent for five consecutive school days, you may request an absent credit equal to one-half your weekly tuition.  Parents must request an absent credit in writing by email three school days prior to the absence.  There are no limits on how many absent/vacation credits a child can use. 

At Hive Academy, we understand that work-life balance is a priority, and therefore, we have developed a unique school calendar unlike any other preschool in the surrounding area. This calendar allows us to provide our staff with that work-life balance they are seeking (and a benefit to help attract and retain high-quality team members), and encourages families to have work-life balance while providing a cost-savings to the family. What is different about our calendar that sets us apart is Hive Academy will be closed for two weeks in July each year (one week for team members to have a vacation and one week for team members to prepare for the new school year), the entire week of Thanksgiving, and  one week for Winter Break. Families will not be charged any tuition for these weeks.
